How did you get into the Video & Photographic modeling business?
(Marisa Ross)
I had an old friend who was a successful runway model and she thought
I had the right look to do glamour modeling so I gave it a shot.
(TMF)
Since there is extreme competition in this business what sets
you apart from other models?
(Marisa Ross)
Probably my dedication to education and the time I spend
communicating with fans. I get several hundred messages a day from
fans and I personally read every last one and respond to a majority of
them.
(TMF)
What advice do you have for aspiring models what options do they
have to get started?
(Marisa Ross)
The best thing a model can do is self promote. I got as far as I have
a lot of self-promotion. Also, know your business and get involved in
the business aspect of modeling. No one is looking out for you so it's
very important for all models to be careful when dealing with their
money and contracts.

What is your dating status?
(Marisa Ross)
I have a boyfriend.
(TMF)
Are you an industry dater meaning you only date people in the
entertainment industry?
(Marisa Ross)
)Not at all. For me, it's all about the person. If it's a college guy,
a pro-athlete, an actor, or whoever, I'm open to anyone with a good
heart and good intentions, because that's really hard for me to find.
(TMF)
What are the pros and cons of your career?
(Marisa Ross)
)Pros are that I get to travel and meet tons of people. Also, I get a
lot of love from girls who never thought they could be considered sexy or
beautiful because they're not a size 0 and that seeing me be confident
in myself has helped them feel better about themselves. That's an
amazing feeling. A big con is that at my university a LOT of people know
who I am and that equates people getting in my business a lot. Another
con is of course, the haters.
